On Sunday, June 26 Blytheville Police Officer Seth Rounsavall observed a vehicle matching the description of a stolen vehicle out of Gosnell.  When Officer Rounsavall turned around to check the vehicle's tags it accelerated and turned onto County Road 214 then turned into a farm shop.  The driver, Branden Cooper jumped out of the vehicle and fled the area.  Officer Rounsavall stayed with the other three occupants (Jessica Miller, Jeffery Birmingham, JoHnathan Hart) until other units arrived.  Corporal Lloyd Danner, Sgt. Matthew Richardson along with other Blytheville Units arrived at the scene.  The vehicle was confirmed as stolen.  Corporal Danner deployed his K-9 partner Karma around the vehicle and Karma indicated the presence of illegal substances.  Karma was then deployed to track the location of Mr. Cooper.  Karma located Mr. Cooper hiding under an abandoned trailer.  After returning to the vehicle Deputies searched the vehicle and found approximately 1 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.  All four individuals were transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.
