On Thursday June 17, 2022 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit, Sheriff's Drug Task Force Unit and the Manila Police Department searched the Ricky Shirley residence located on East Springer Street in Manila.  During the search deputies found, marijuana, hydrocodone pills, 17 grams of methamphetamine, Xanax pills. Diazepam pills, alprazolam pills, baggies, digital scales and pipes used for smoking methamphetamine.  Mr. Shirley was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Ricky Shirley (41 years old) from Manila was charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Xanax)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Diazepam)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Judge Shannon Langston set a $75,000.00 bond
