Drug Arrest (Sanders, Ingram)

On Monday April 25, 2022 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit stopped a GMC Sierra for a traffic violation on Highway 77 and Lake Street in Manila. The driver, identified as Kevin Sanders is currently on active parole. The passenger was identified as Kisha Ingram. Deputy Danner deployed his K-9 partner Karma around the vehicle. Karma alerted on the driver's side door. Captain Debra Isabell with the Manila Police Department searched Ms. Ingram and found a small cellophane wrapper containing methamphetamine. Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and located a loaded 9mm Taurus handgun, one set of brass knuckles, one pipe used for smoking methamphetamine and one plastic baggie containing approximately 9.2 grams of methamphetamine. Mr. Sanders and Ms. Ingram were transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.
Kevin Sanders from Blytheville (38 years old) was charged with the following;
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons
Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms
Drove left of Center
Kisha Ingram from Manila (34 years old) was charged with the following;
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons
Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms
Judge Shannon Langston set a $80,000 temp bond on Mr. Sanders and Ms. Ingram. Both have a District Court date of 4/27/2022.
