Guns and Drugs Seized

On Friday, April 1, 2022 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Special Response Team, Sheriff's Street Crimes Unit and the Sheriff's Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Jeren Mills residence located on Lake Street in Blytheville.  During the search Deputies located 1 loaded FN 57 handgun, 1 loaded M&P AR 15 short barrel rifle, 1 loaded Century Arms VSKA 7.62X39 rifle, 5 ounces of Promethazine, 2 pounds of marijuana, digital scales and $1,077.00 in U.S. currency.  Mr. Mills (36-year-old) was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Mr. Mills was charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (marijuana)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (promethazine)  

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms

Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons

Mr. Mills has multiple prior felony convictions.  Judge Shannon Langston set a temporary $150,000.00 cash bond.
