On January 25, 2022 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit, Sheriff's DTF and Probation/Parole Officers searched a residence on Julia Street in Blytheville.  During the search deputies located several baggies containing marijuana with a total weight of approximately 2 pounds, multiple bottles containing Promethazine, Hydrocodone, Adderall, and Alprazolam pills, two sets of digital scales, two handguns and $4800.00 in cash.

 

Deputies arrested Marquis King (38 years old) and Crystal Walker (25 years old).  Both were transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center and charged with the following;

 

Marquis King

Possession of a Controlled Substance with purpose to deliver Marijuana

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Adderall)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Promethazine)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons

Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearm

 

Mr. King received a $150,000.00 bond issued by Judge Shannon Langston.

Ms. Walker received a $5,000.00 bond issued by Judge Shannon Langston.
