Crack Cocaine arrest

On December 1, 2021 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit and Sheriff's DTF along with Probation/Parole officers conducted a search at the Joseph Sherman residence located on Moore Street in Blytheville.  When Deputies pulled up to the residence Mr. Sherman fled.  Deputies were able to secure Mr. Sherman after a short foot pursuit. During the search Officer's found approximately 60 grams of crack cocaine, 49 hydrocodone pills, 11 clonazepam pills, marijuana, digital scales and $1104.00.  Mr. Sherman (63 years old) was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center and charged with the following;

 

Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver (crack cocaine)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Possession of a Controlled Substance (hydrocodone)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (clonazepam)

Tampering with Physical Evidence

Fleeing

 

Judge Shannon Langston set a $250,000.00 bond
