Drug Arrests (Lambert, Freeman)

On Thursday October 21, 2021 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit was investigating information they received of individuals in a white Nissan Altima selling drugs in Manila.  Deputies spotted the vehicle on Highway 18 as it was turning onto Johnson Street.  The vehicle narrowly missed running into the Deputies vehicle.  Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and the driver of the vehicle refused to stop.  Deputies stopped the vehicle as it turned into a residence on Roosevelt Street.  The driver was identified as being Joseph Lambert and the passenger was identified as being Justina Freeman.  Mr. Lambert is on parole and Ms. Freeman had active warrants.  During a search of the vehicle, Deputies found approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, Alprazolam pills, marijuana and unused syringes.  Mr. Lambert and Ms. Freeman were transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

 

Joseph Lambert (W/M 30 years old) was charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (Meth)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Failure to Yield

Driving While License Suspended 3rd Offense

 

Justina Freeman (W/F 36 years old) was charged with the following;

Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (Meth)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

8 Failure to Appear warrants

 

Both will appear in Blytheville District Court on Monday October 25, 2021.
