Drug Arrests (Erickson, Adamson, Pettingill, Cattanach)

On Friday October 22, 2021 the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit and the Sheriff's Drug Task Force were in Blytheville following up on drug related information.  Deputies observed a Hyundai Elantra traveling west on Highway 18 and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for traffic related violations.  The vehicle then fled continuing west on Highway 18.  Deputies were able to stop the vehicle at the intersection of Highway 18 and East County Road 278.  Deputies identified the driver Travis Erickson from Conway, the front seat passenger Christopher Adamson from Paragould, rear seat passengers Marissa Pettingill from Mount Vernon and Cherise Cattanach from Paragould.  Deputies requested Deputy Lloyd Danner and his K-9 Karma to come to the scene.  Deputy Danner deployed Karma around the vehicle and Karma gave a positive alert on the driver's side door.  During a search of the vehicle Deputies found approximately 8 ounces of Methamphetamine.  All individuals were transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.     

 

Travis Erickson (W/M 34 years old) was charged with the following;

Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Fleeing

Driving while License Suspended 2nd Offense

Drove Left of Center

 

Christopher Adamson (W/M 30 years old) was charged with the following;

Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Failure to Appear

 

Marissa Pettingill (W/F 32 years old) was charged with the following;

Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

Cherise Cattanach (W/F 34 years old) was charged with the following;

Trafficking a Controlled Substance (Meth)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

 

All suspects will appear in Blytheville District Court on Monday October 25, 2021.
