Pearson

On Tuesday September 7th the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes Unit and Sheriff's Drug Task Force conducted a search of the Ricky Pearson's residence located on County Road 567 outside of Luxora.  While Deputies were talking with Mr. Pearson (61 years old) they noticed a small baggie containing methamphetamine inside his right ear (0.4 gram).  During a search of the residence Deputies located a black box containing 14 individual baggies of methamphetamine (combined weight 21 grams), one box containing pipes used for smoking methamphetamine, rolling papers, corner baggies and digital scales and one black box containing carisoprodol pills and one large baggie containing methamphetamine (23.2 grams).  Deputies found one plastic baggie containing methamphetamine (1.6 grams) and $2,165.00 inside his wallet.  Total combine weight of methamphetamine is approximately 46.2 grams. 

 

Mr. Pearson was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center and charged with the following:

Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver Methamphetamine (felony)

Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription (Misdemeanor)  

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (felony)

 

Mr. Pearson received a $150,000 bond set by Judge Shannon Langston.
