There is a new scam circulating in Mississippi County. A male subject is calling individuals about a judgement against them for not answering a subpoena. He's giving his name as Lt. Nick Nelson with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department. 

If you get a call from this individual, please do not give him any personal information. The Mississippi County Sheriff's Department has no employee by this name and we will not call and request personal information or financial information. Hang up on this individual and call the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department at 870-658-2242 or 870-762-2243.
