Sheriff's Street Crimes Unit make arrests

On Monday July 13, 2020 The Mississippi County Sheriff's Street Crimes Unit along with ACC (Probation/Parole) conducted a parole search at the Jeremy Connell residence located at 859 East Main Street Apartment "C" in Blytheville.  As Deputies were talking with Mr. Connell, he pushed his four-year-old son out of the way and fled the residence.  Deputies were able to catch the four-year-old before he fell to the ground.  Deputies caught Mr. Connell after a brief foot chase.  During the search Deputies located 7.8 grams of methamphetamine, 6 grams of marijuana, loaded syringe containing 32 units of suspected methamphetamine and a large assortment of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Connell (41 years old) was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), Possession of a Counterfeit Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing and Endangering the welfare of a Minor.  Mr. Connell received a $75,000.00 bond by District Judge Shannon Langston.   

 

On Wednesday July 15, 2020 The Mississippi County Sheriff's Street Crimes Unit was in the Manila area when they observed a vehicle traveling east on Highway 18.  Deputies noticed the driver was not wearing a seat belt and a traffic stop was conducted.  Deputies made contact with the driver, Jennifer Alvarado.  ACC (Probation/Parole) Officer Godair along with the Manila Police Department pulled up to the traffic stop to assist Deputies.  The vehicle was occupied by Jennifer Alvarado, Kendra Hill and Christopher Presswood.  Officer Godair with ACC noticed a broken pipe used for smoking methamphetamine laying outside the passenger side window.  Officers then searched the vehicle and found a used syringe inside an eye glass case laying in the back floorboard and a plastic baggie laying between the front seat and the back-seat passenger floorboard.  All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Jennifer Alvarado (35 years old), Kenda Hill (41 years old) and Christopher Presswood (21 years old) were all charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  All three received a $15,000.00 bond by District Judge Shannon Langston. 

 

On Wednesday July 15, 2020 The Mississippi County Sheriff's Street Crimes Unit, Manila Police Department and Officers from ACC (probation/parole) conducted a parole search of the Jeremy Summers residence located at 805 Kimberly Apt "A" in Manila.  During the search Officers located 4.4 grams of methamphetamine, 20 suspected Xanax pills, small amount of marijuana, scales, baggies, papers and documents showing proof of residency and several other items of drug paraphernalia.  Mr. Summers (33 years old) was transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver (meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription and Failure to Appear.  Mr. Summers received a $35,000 bond by District Judge Shannon Langston.
