Operation MISSCO in May was conducted May 2, 2016 - May 6, 2016, by federal, state, and local law enforcement to verify sex offender registration compliance in Mississippi County.  Agencies participating included US Marshals Service, ACC Probation/Parole, ACC Special Response Team, Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, Osceola Police Department, Blytheville Police Department, Gosnell Police Department, Manila Police Department, Leachville Police Department, Wilson Police Department, Keiser Police Department and the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 

Agencies completed 172 compliance checks and 20 people were arrested during this operation. Agencies will be seeking 20 warrants as a result of this operation and several cases will be assessed by the US Marshal Service to determine if any federal sex offender registration laws were violated.
